Tour of Sixfields Stadium

As part of our PE sessions with the Northampton Town Football Club community department, we were given the opportunity to look round Sixfields this afternoon. We visited the home changing room, walked out of the tunnel, sat in the dug-out and even got to sit in the comfy seats usually reserved for the directors!

Our involvement with the Cobblers has not finished yet. After Christmas you will have the opportunity to attend the home League 1 match against Coventry City…WOW!

What were your highlights of our visit to Sixfields?

  1. My highlights were when we got to have a go at scoring in the blown-up goal and when we got to sit in the stadium and admire the view of the massive football pitch.

    • Children will get free tickets and will attend the match as a class group. There will be a chance for parents to buy reduced-price tickets but these may not be in the same area as the children. Hope that helps. Information will be sent out after Christmas. Match is on the 28th January against Coventry City. Should be a good one!
