As part of our PE sessions with the Northampton Town Football Club community department, we were given the opportunity to look round Sixfields this afternoon. We visited the home changing room, walked out of the tunnel, sat in the dug-out and even got to sit in the comfy seats usually reserved for the directors!
Our involvement with the Cobblers has not finished yet. After Christmas you will have the opportunity to attend the home League 1 match against Coventry City…WOW!
What were your highlights of our visit to Sixfields?
My highlights were when we got to have a go at scoring in the blown-up goal and when we got to sit in the stadium and admire the view of the massive football pitch.
Hi MR B is the tickets to the cov game school only or availible for adults/perents too.
Children will get free tickets and will attend the match as a class group. There will be a chance for parents to buy reduced-price tickets but these may not be in the same area as the children. Hope that helps. Information will be sent out after Christmas. Match is on the 28th January against Coventry City. Should be a good one!
Thank you was gonna buy tickets this game anyway . Oli loves to go cobblers . We are there sat for rochdale
Hope they respond to a very bad result tonight. Typical Cobblers – 31 undefeated and lose to Stourbridge in the same year!
Going rouchdale game sat with the terrible three lol oli riley and leo hopefully will be a good game
I’m so sad that I didn’t go to the sixfeilds tour I wish I had but I had to go to dentist.
It was so much fun there there was Owen,Russel and Sam.
I thought it was a great opportunity for us to see how children like s could become a famouse footballer and to see how many trophies they have won
